Israel intervened in a ship belonging to the Freedom Flotilla Coalition heading to Gaza in international waters. Soldiers broke the cameras and detained a large number of activists, including Turks. In a statement from the Israeli Foreign Ministry, it was noted, "The ship and passengers have been transferred to an Israeli port. All passengers are safe and in good health. The passengers are expected to be deported as soon as possible."
The Israeli army attacked the flagship "Vicdan" of the Freedom Fleet, consisting of 11 ships that set sail after the Global Sumud Fleet, to break the blockade on Gaza.
THREE TURKISH MPs ON BOARD
Soldiers announcing over the radio then began to detain the activists on the ship, which they boarded from the sea and by helicopter. There are 96 activists from 26 countries on board, including 3 Turkish MPs and 3 Israeli citizens.
"SOLDIERS ARE APPROACHING THE SHIP"
In a live broadcast from the flagship Vicdan, fleet spokesperson Kasım Aktağ stated, "The ships surrounded us, soldiers are approaching the ship, never forget us, keep us in the agenda, let’s maintain our unity."
ATTACKED 120 MILES FROM GAZA
As the announcements were made, the live broadcast was cut off, and Israeli soldiers began boarding the ships, severing contact with many boats. In a statement from the fleet's press information group, it was said, "Our ships are under illegal siege. The cameras were disabled, and military personnel boarded the ships. We lost communication with the ship." The statement indicated that Israeli forces attacked the fleet approximately 120 nautical miles from Gaza.

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the ships and activists were detained. In a statement from the ministry, it was stated, "The ships and passengers were transferred to an Israeli port. All passengers are safe and in good health.
