ISRAELI FIGHTER JETS BOMB KASIMIYE BRIDGE
The Kasımiye Bridge, an important crossing point between the north and south of the country that connects the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon to Sidon, was bombed by Israeli fighter jets. Following the attack, the section of the bridge over the Litani River was destroyed. Those moments were captured by a security camera located around the bridge.

Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu had instructed the Israeli army to bomb the bridges over the Litani River in southern Lebanon. Israeli Army Spokesperson Avichay Adraee also recently announced on his social media account that they had launched attacks in southern Lebanon.

In a statement made by the Israeli army on March 2, it was reported that sirens were activated in the north of the country after detecting missile launches from Lebanon. The Israeli army, which later announced that it had launched airstrikes across Lebanon and targeted the capital Beirut, decided to expand its ground invasion in Lebanon, where it was conducting intense attacks from the air and sea.
In its latest statement, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the number of people killed in Israeli attacks since March 2 has risen to 1,024, while the number of injured has reached 2,740. The Disaster Management affiliated with the Lebanese government reported that the number of people forcibly displaced in Lebanon due to the Israeli occupation and attacks has officially exceeded 1 million.
