23.12.2024 23:50

Israel claimed responsibility for the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, which took place at his residence in Tehran, the capital of Iran, and resulted in his death. Defense Minister Yisrael Katz openly announced their new targets in a statement.

Israel has for the first time acknowledged that Tel Aviv is behind the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, who was killed in Tehran, the capital of Iran.

NEW TARGETS ANNOUNCED

Defense Minister Yisrael Katz confirmed in a video message published on his official social media account that they killed Haniyeh and threatened the Houthis in Yemen.

"WE WILL LEAVE THEIR LEADERSHIP WITHOUT A HEAD"

Katz stated, "We will deal a heavy blow to the Houthis and leave their leadership without a head. Just like we did to Haniyeh, Sinwar, and Nasrallah in Tehran, Gaza, and Lebanon, we will do the same in Hudaydah and Sana'a."

HANIYEH'S ASSASSINATION IN IRAN

Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas's Political Bureau, was in Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of Iran's new President, Masoud Pezeshkian. In a statement made by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on July 31, it was announced that an attack was carried out on the residence where Haniyeh was staying in Tehran. While Iran and Hamas hold Israel responsible for the assassination, the Tel Aviv administration has refrained from making any statements regarding the incident to date.
