Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov announced that he is ready to support Iran with all his weapons and that he could go to Iran to fight personally if necessary. Kadyrov harshly criticized the United States and Israel, describing their attacks as "treacherous." However, he also found Iran's attacks on civilian targets in Gulf countries unacceptable. The statements led to comments that the war could spread to a wider area.
A striking statement in the ongoing war between the US-Israel and Iran came from Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. Kadyrov announced that he is ready to provide military support to Iran and stated that he could personally go to the front lines if necessary.
“I AM READY TO FIGHT FOR IRAN”
In his statement, Kadyrov indicated that he could offer all his weapons and support to Iran, saying, “Even today, I am ready to go to Iran and fight against a possible US-Israel ground operation.” These words brought the risk of the war expanding from the perspective of regional actors back to the forefront.
HARSH ACCUSATION AGAINST THE US AND ISRAEL
Describing the US and Israel's attacks on Iran as “a treacherous attack during Ramadan,” Kadyrov accused the two countries of “creating division in the Islamic world.” He argued that the Tehran administration wants to draw third countries into the conflict.
SUPPORT FOR IRAN, REACTION TO CIVILIAN ATTACKS
On the other hand, Kadyrov criticized Iran's attacks on the United Arab Emirates and other Gulf countries. He regarded the retaliations against American bases as “an expected response” and described targeting civilian infrastructure in third countries as “unacceptable.”
SPECIAL SUPPORT MESSAGE TO THE UAE
Kadyrov expressed support for UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, whom he referred to as “brother.” Emphasizing that the UAE administration has no military claims against regional countries, Kadyrov stated that attacks on civilian targets can never be justified.
DUBAI RELATIONS ARE STRIKING
Kadyrov's close relations with the United Arab Emirates are also known. According to research, his family owns luxury properties in Dubai worth over 20 million dollars. It is reported that one of these properties has been used as an unofficial Chechen representation point for years. Additionally, flight records reveal that Kadyrov's private jet has frequently traveled to the UAE in recent years.
THE SCOPE OF THE WAR MAY EXPAND
Kadyrov's open military support message to Iran has strengthened the possibility that the war could turn into a broader conflict involving not only regional but also different actors.
