According to the Iranian official news agency IRNA, President Pezeshkian made statements during a cabinet meeting.
Pezeshkian, who stated that "any decision regarding the end of the war that began with the attacks of the US and Israel on Iran is dependent on guaranteeing the security and interests of the Iranian people," emphasized that the resistance shown by the army and the national unity demonstrated by the Iranian people during the war are among the most valuable factors in overcoming the country's current critical conditions."
"IRAN INSPIRES FREE PEOPLE"
Pezeshkian also addressed the importance of the "support for the administration" demonstrations held in various cities of the country, especially in the evenings, stating, "The gathering of the people in the evenings is very valuable. Iran inspires free people."
US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN
On February 28, while negotiations continued between the Tehran and Washington administrations, Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran. In response, Iran targeted certain regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel. In the US-Israel attacks, many high-ranking officials, including Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, were killed.
