It has been reported that, due to the so-called humanitarian aid distribution mechanism established through the "Gaza Humanitarian Aid Foundation" under the guidance of the U.S. and Israel, 17 Palestinians have been killed and 86 others have been injured so far.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza provided information on the number of Palestinians who have lost their lives so far in the so-called humanitarian aid centers established in the southern and central parts of the Gaza Strip through the "Gaza Humanitarian Aid Foundation" channel, which is under the influence of the USA and Israel.
17 PALESTINIANS DEAD, 86 INJURED
In a written statement from the ministry, it was expressed that due to this aid mechanism, 1 person died on May 29, and 5 more on May 30, raising the total number to 17, with 86 people injured and 5 still missing.
US OFFICIALS FIRED INTO THE AIR TO DISPERSE THOUSANDS OF PALESTINIANS
At a distribution point controlled by the "Gaza Humanitarian Aid Foundation," which announced its activities began on May 27, US officials fired into the air to disperse thousands of Palestinians who entered the area to receive aid.
THE AIM IS TO EXCLUDE THE UN AND OTHER INDEPENDENT AID ORGANIZATIONS
According to reports in the US and Israeli press, the "Gaza Humanitarian Aid Foundation," which was said to have been established as a "non-profit civil society organization" in Geneva, Switzerland, in February of this year, is backed by the Washington and Tel Aviv administrations. According to international media reports, this foundation aims to exclude the UN and other independent aid organizations from providing assistance to Gaza. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and the Palestinian government in Gaza also state that this foundation operates in line with the objectives of the Tel Aviv administration.
THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR RESIGNED A DAY BEFORE THE OPENING CEREMONY
Despite being evaluated as "independent" by the US, the foundation's Executive Director Jake Wood announced that he resigned a day before the opening ceremony. Wood stated that implementing the aid plan was "incompatible with humanitarian principles" and that there could be no compromise on fundamental principles such as neutrality, humanity, and independence.
