Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz claimed that as the US increases economic pressure on Iran, the likelihood of Tehran attacking his country also rises, threatening, "Our planes are ready to take off."
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz claimed that with the increase in US economic pressure on Iran, the likelihood of Tehran attacking Israel has risen, and threatened, "Our planes are ready to take off." It is confirmed that Katz's statements were made today at a conference organized by Ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth.
HE CLAIMED IRAN COULD ATTACK DURING JEWISH HOLIDAYS
Speaking at a conference organized by Israel's Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, Katz claimed that Iran could attack Israel during the Jewish holidays celebrated in September.
Arguing that the increase in US economic pressure on Iran raises the risk of a possible attack by Tehran against Israel, Katz said, "We are preparing in terms of defense and attack in coordination with the US."
"OUR PLANES ARE READY TO TAKE OFF"
Claiming that Iran might launch an attack due to Lebanon, the occupied West Bank, or Gaza, Katz stated that Israel is prepared for such a scenario.
Katz threatened Tehran with the words, "Our planes are ready to take off." He also said that if Iran attacks, Israel will respond with "great force."
