Israel struck Gaza again at the ceasefire hour.

19.01.2025 09:50

Israel struck Gaza again just minutes before the ceasefire was set to take effect. While Israel stated, "We will continue the attacks," videos from the region showed smoke filling the sky. The attack came after Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's ultimatum that "the ceasefire will not begin without Hamas presenting a list of released hostages."

The world's attention has turned to the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, which is set to begin at 09:30 Turkish time, when an unexpected development occurred.

Following Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's ultimatum that "the ceasefire will not begin without Hamas presenting the list of hostages to be released," warplanes struck Gaza again at the ceasefire hour.

As smoke rose from the region, Israel issued another threat, stating, "If there is no hostage list, there will be no ceasefire; we will continue our attacks."

A source from Hamas told Ynet that the group was delaying the announcement of names for technical reasons. The source added, "(Hamas) officials are communicating physically through messengers, and it is taking time to reach agreements on the names and locations of the hostages while IDF jets are still in the air." According to the Hamas source, "The list will only be announced with the approval of Hamas leader Mohammed Sinwar."
