Israel launched an attack on the Tel al-Ahmar al-Sharqi region of Syria. While no official statement has been made regarding casualties or material damage following the attack, this move by Israel constitutes a clear violation of the "Disengagement of Forces Agreement" signed in 1974.
The Israeli army launched an attack on the Tel el-Ahmer al-Sharqi area located in the southern rural part of Quneitra province in southern Syria.
THEY OPENED FIRE WITH MACHINE GUNS
According to a report by Syrian state television Al-Ikhbariyya, Israeli forces opened fire with machine guns in the Tel el-Ahmer al-Sharqi area. No official statement has been made regarding any casualties or material damage in the area following the attack.
THEY CLEARLY VIOLATED THE HISTORICAL AGREEMENT
The Damascus government states that Israel's raids in the rural areas of Quneitra and Daraa and attacks on civilians are a clear violation of the "Disengagement of Forces Agreement" signed in 1974.
MORE THAN 1000 AIR STRIKES CARRIED OUT
According to a previous statement by President Ahmed Shara, the Israeli army carried out more than 1000 air strikes and approximately 400 ground raids in various regions of Syria between December 8, 2024, and July 18, 2025.
