Moscow has given its highest-level response to Ukraine's targeting of oil refineries on Russian territory. Speaking in the capital, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the energy sector's foundation is solid, saying, 'We will always retaliate. Our response will be much stronger. The enemy will feel this more in the future.' Putin emphasized that they continue to develop the economy despite Western pressures and stressed that they will keep modernizing the army.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that they will continue to give harsh military responses to Ukraine's attacks on strategic facilities within Russian borders. In a program he attended in Moscow, targeting the Kiev administration and the Western coalition behind it, Putin signaled an escalation of tensions, stating, "We will always retaliate. We will respond to attacks in kind, and our response will always be much stronger."

"WE ARE MODERNIZING THE ARMY AND GROWING THE ECONOMY"

According to a statement from the Kremlin Palace, the Russian leader attended a special program and exhibition organized by the Russian People's Front movement in the capital Moscow. Stating that the Western world is in total confrontation with Russia, Putin emphasized that despite these pressures, they are determinedly continuing to grow the country's economy and modernize the Russian army with modern weapons.

"THE FOUNDATION OF OUR ENERGY SECTOR IS SOLID"

Commenting on the recent drone attacks by the Ukrainian army targeting oil refineries and fuel depots within Russia, Putin did not downplay the threats to energy infrastructure but argued they are temporary. Putin said, "The foundation of Russia's energy sector is extremely solid and very strong. They may be causing us some minor issues with oil products, but I believe this situation will be completely resolved over time."

"WE WILL RESPOND TO ATTACKS IN KIND AND STRONGER"

Clearly stating that Ukraine's steps against Russian territory will not go unanswered, Putin emphasized the "tit-for-tat" principle underlying their military doctrine. The Russian President said, "We will always retaliate. But our response will be much stronger and more devastating than theirs. The enemy already feels this now, and will feel it much more in the future," indicating they will increase the intensity of operations.
