The entrance fees for beaches in Istanbul have been announced. At the beaches in Şile and the Islands, the entrance fees range from 300 TL to 1500 TL, while in Florya, the fee has increased from 60 TL last year to 120 TL.
As the summer season approaches, businesses in the megacity of Istanbul are preparing for the season, and the entrance fees for the beaches have also been announced.
Beaches, facilities, and tourist businesses in Istanbul are getting ready for the upcoming summer season. Entrance fees have been determined for many beaches and tourist establishments that will open in the first week of June.
ISLANDS WILL BE EXPENSIVE
In Şile, the entrance fee at some beaches is 300 lira, while at others it rises up to 800 lira. In the Islands, entrance fees start from 600 lira and can go up to 1500 lira. İrfan Tutar, the owner of a business in Şile, stated, "Şile has 60 kilometers of sandy beach. Anyone can swim for free anywhere. We provide services such as sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, toilets, and service here. That’s why we charge a fee. Last year it was 800 lira, and it remains the same this year. We haven't increased the price at all."
The beach season in the Islands starts on May 31 - June 1. In Büyükada and Heybeliada, where private businesses are located, entrance fees start from 600 TL on weekdays and can rise to 1500 TL on weekends. In some beaches, this fee is set as a spending limit that can be used inside.
PRICES HAVE ALSO BEEN ANNOUNCED IN KILYOS AND SARIYER
The season in Kilyos is planned to open in the second week of June. Daily entrance prices are 500 TL on weekdays and 750 TL on weekends. Businesses in Sarıyer, preparing to open the season on June 1, have set entrance fees at 600 TL on weekdays and 800 TL on weekends.
PRICES AT İBB BEACH HAVE DOUBLED
At the İBB beach in Florya, the entrance fee, which was 60 TL last year, has doubled this year. This year, the entrance fee for the beach in Florya will be 120 lira.
