After the events planned at the Zorlu Performing Arts Center were banned by the decision of the Beşiktaş District Governorship, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül stated that no activities that are incompatible with social values will be allowed. In his statement, Gül said, "No activities that corrupt society have been allowed in Istanbul until now, and they will not be allowed in the future."

The concerts of Slaughter to Prevail and Behemoth, which were expected to be held at the Zorlu Performing Arts Center, have been banned by the Beşiktaş District Governorship.

All events have been banned for 2 days due to the reactions from various segments of society, as they do not align with our social values.

In a statement from the District Governorship, the following expressions were recorded: "It has been determined that the events cause reactions from various segments of society due to their incompatibility with our social values. A decision has been made to BAN all concerts, festivals, collective and ticketed programs, and other events within Zorlu PSM and Zorlu Center for a period of 2 (two) days from 00:01 on 10.02.2026 to 23:59 on 11.02.2026."
