However, doctors examining the wounds on the young woman's body assessed that the situation was not a fall incident but a suspicious assault case and immediately reported it to the district police department.
BLOODY AXE FOUND UNDER THE BED
Acting on the report, Çorlu police raided L.A.'s home on Orkide Street in Kemalettin District. Inspecting the house, teams found blood traces in rooms and various sections. Deepening the investigation, police discovered an axe hidden under the bed during a search in the bedroom, still bearing blood stains. As a result of technical examinations and evidence, it was confirmed that L.A. did not fall from a height but was severely injured in an ax attack by her husband N.A.
FLEEING HUSBAND CAUGHT ON STREET AND ARRESTED
After the brutality, police teams launched a large-scale pursuit to catch the missing husband N.A. The suspect was caught red-handed and detained by security forces while walking on Şehit İrfan Atasayar Street in Şeyhsinan District.
After completing procedures at the police station, N.A. was referred to court and arrested on charges of "intentional injury and aggravated assault" by the court, then sent to prison. It was learned that the seriously injured 19-year-old L.A. continues her treatment at the hospital.
