Fenerbahçe's head coach Jose Mourinho commented on the chants from the stands in favor of İrfan Can Kahveci following the 4-1 victory against Trabzonspor. Explaining the reason for not giving the national star much playing time, Mourinho said, "Irfan Can, like İsmail, has faced a lot of problems throughout the season. As I mentioned, 35 million of our fans do not know this. One person knows."
In the 30th week of the Trendyol Super League, Fenerbahçe defeated Trabzonspor 4-1 at home. The yellow-navy team's coach, Jose Mourinho, spoke about the fans chanting for İrfan Can Kahveci after the match. Mourinho also clarified why he did not give playing time to the national player.

Mourinho's statements about İrfan Can Kahveci are as follows;
"I am very happy that the fans are shouting İrfan Can Kahveci's name. I am sorry that they do not do this for every player, but I am happy when the stadium and the fans support the players.
