Recently released FBI documents reveal that a prisoner entered the cell of infamous sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on the night of his death. Security camera footage and FBI reports contain details that contradict official statements regarding Epstein's final hours.

According to newly released FBI documents, a prisoner was detected entering the cell block on the night Jeffrey Epstein died.

Mysterious footage captured by security cameras clearly shows an orange figure moving near the cell of the famous sex offender on the night of his death. The FBI reports, part of millions of Epstein files made public by the U.S. Department of Justice, contain significant details that contradict official statements about Epstein's final hours.

Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York on August 10, 2019, by a guard who brought him breakfast. The incident was officially recorded as a suicide. However, it was noted that two security cameras outside his cell were not working, and to this day, a definitive time of death has not been announced.

As uncertainties surrounding the incident led to debates over the years, a remarkable detail emerged during the investigation conducted by the FBI. It was determined that a prisoner ascended the stairs of the L Block, where the cells are located, on the night Epstein died.

The FBI report recorded that at 10:39 PM on August 9, 2019, "an orange figure was seen moving up the stairs of the L Block" on the cameras. The report emphasized that this figure was a prisoner.

However, the Prison Inspectorate countered this interpretation, suggesting that the person in the footage could be a staff member carrying items, not a prisoner. The inspectorate's report stated, "Prisoners were locked in their cells at that time, and it is also possible that someone was carrying sheets or bedding."

These two different assessments directly contradict previous statements made to the public by senior U.S. officials.

Former U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr stated in 2019 that he personally reviewed the security cameras and claimed that no one entered Epstein's cell block.

Former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino also stated in an interview with Fox News, "The footage is extremely clear. The only person entering and exiting is Epstein. There is no one else."

However, the final report of the Chief Inspector noted that an unidentified person exited the L Block stairs at 10:39 PM and re-entered the camera's field of view two minutes later.

Forensic imaging experts who spoke to CBS in 2019 also assessed that the orange figure in the footage belonged to another prisoner.

Retired NYPD sergeant and forensic video expert Conor McCourt said, "When the existing footage is evaluated, it concludes that this is a prisoner wearing an orange prison uniform."

Forensic video expert Jim Safford and four other recognized experts in the field shared the opinion that "the claim that no one could reach the stairs leading to Epstein's cell unnoticed does not reflect reality."

Another critical point highlighted by the experts was a suspicious one-minute gap in the security recordings.

Approximately 11 hours of raw security camera footage was shared with the public. However, investigations revealed that the footage had been edited multiple times and that a one-minute section of the recordings had been deleted.

The time code on the screen was found to have jumped forward just before midnight.

Attorney General Pam Bondi responded to a question about this missing minute by stating that the Bureau of Prisons informed that this was a routine technical process that occurs during the automatic resetting of the recording system every night.

On the other hand, other leaked footage from the prison shows Epstein describing how another prisoner tried to kiss him.

In the video, Epstein speaks to the camera in a gray sweater in front of a white wall, detailing his experiences.

While the conditions under which the footage was recorded are unknown, Epstein's words create the impression that they were secretly recorded in prison.
