US Vice President JD Vance made striking assessments about President Donald Trump during a podcast appearance. US Vice President JD Vance made striking remarks about President Donald Trump during his appearance on "The Diary of a CEO" podcast. Arguing that Trump has a very different personality from the public image often portrayed, Vance stated that the US President possesses extraordinary qualities both in intelligence and human relations.
Noting that Trump has a unique ability to understand people, Vance said, "Trump is incredibly smart. He reads a lot. He understands people on an instinctual level, better than anyone I know. Even in terms of raw IQ, he is a very intelligent person."

Comparing Trump to historical US presidents, Vance made assertive statements about his intelligence level.

Vance said, "If you see Donald Trump in the Oval Office, he has to give you a gift. Whether it's a water bottle, a MAGA hat, a coin, or a pin... He's one of those people who truly loves hospitality."
Stating that Trump enjoys making people happy, Vance added, "He really likes to make others happy."
