Three masked individuals came to a jewelry store in Sancaktepe and robbed a certain amount of gold with a rented car. In the scuffle that broke out inside the shop, the robbers shot the jeweler in the knees. As the robbers fled, the injured jeweler's son came out of the shop and fired at them, resulting in a clash between the parties. Approximately 50 shots were fired at the scene before the robbers escaped.

In the scuffle that broke out inside the shop, the robbers shot the jeweler in the knees. As the robbers fled, a conflict erupted between the parties when the injured jeweler's son came out of the shop and fired at the robbers. Approximately 50 shots were fired at the scene as the robbers escaped.
CAME WITH A RENTED CAR
In the incident that took place around 10:00 on Ankara Street in Sancaktepe, three masked individuals arrived in front of the jewelry store with a rented Mercedes car. The robbers pointed their automatic guns at the jeweler and stole a certain amount of gold from the showcase. At that moment, a scuffle broke out between the robbers and the jeweler, Nurettin Mengühan.
CONFLICT IN FRONT OF THE SHOP
The jeweler, Nurettin Mengühan, was injured in the knees as a result of the shots fired by the robbers. As the robbers were about to get into their car and leave, Nurettin Mengühan's son, jeweler Özgür Mengühan, came out of the shop and opened fire on the robbers. A conflict broke out between the parties as the individuals also fired back. During the conflict, the shop's window was hit by numerous bullets. The individuals drove away from the scene in their car while the jeweler fired a few more shots at them from behind. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The injured Nurettin Mengühan was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
50 BULLETS HIT
In the investigation conducted by the police at the scene, approximately 50 bullets that hit the shop's window and its surroundings were detected. Meanwhile, it was determined that the car used by the robbers in the incident was rented from a car rental company in Beykoz, and the robbers were identified to have fled towards Gebze. The police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
