The Portuguese coach, who will go under the knife tomorrow, is expected to take his place at the helm of the team during the first training session scheduled for Friday, December 27, after the two-week break in the leagues.

It has been learned that the Portuguese coach, who left Istanbul for abroad on Saturday, December 21 (yesterday) after the match against Eyüpspor, which ended in a 1-1 draw in the 17th week of the Trendyol Super League, will undergo an operation on his gallbladder.
HE WILL BE WITH THE TEAM ON DECEMBER 27
The Portuguese coach will have the operation on Monday, December 23 (tomorrow) and will be present at the first training session scheduled for Friday, December 27.
THERE WILL BE A 2-WEEK BREAK IN THE LEAGUES
On the other hand, after the matches of the 17th week of the Trendyol Super League are completed with the matches to be played today and tomorrow, there will be a 2-week break in the league. The matches of the 18th week in the league will start on Friday, January 3.

After the Eyüpspor match, Mourinho commented on the granted leave, saying, "It will not be a happy leave period for me. How it will be for the players depends on their mentality. I would have preferred no break, but we had promised a long time ago. We will work very hard in the second period of this two-week break," he stated.
