A new operation was carried out this morning as part of the drug and prostitution investigation targeting celebrities. A total of 17 people, including Kaan Tangöze, the lead singer of the band Duman, were detained.
A new operation was carried out this morning as part of the drug and prostitution investigation conducted against celebrities by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
KAAN TANGÖZE IS ALSO DETAINED
In the operation, the lead singer of the Duman group, Rıza Kaan Tangöze, was detained. Among those detained are singer Sırrı Murat Dalkılıç and actor İsmail Hacıoğlu.

STATEMENT FROM THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE
In a statement regarding the operation made by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the following expressions were included:
"Our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has been conducting an investigation against 'publicly known individuals' for the crimes of Purchasing, Accepting or Possessing Drugs or Stimulants for Use, or Using Drugs or Stimulants, Facilitating the Use of Drugs or Stimulants, in coordination with the Istanbul Police Department's Narcotic Crimes Division for some time;
According to the evidence within the scope of the investigation documents and the stage reached, (17) of the (25) suspects identified as participating in the alleged crimes were captured and detained as a result of simultaneous capture, detention, search, and seizure operations carried out at 02:00 today.
52.46 GRAMS OF DRUGS SEIZED
As a result of the searches, a total of 52.46 grams of "marijuana" substance was seized from various suspects, and efforts to capture the (8) suspects who have not yet been apprehended are ongoing.

WHO IS KAAN TANGÖZE?
Rıza Kaan Tangöze, (born September 5, 1973, Istanbul), is a Turkish musician, the lead singer and guitarist of the alternative rock band Duman.
EDUCATION
He graduated from Şişli Terakki High School and the Hotel Management and Tourism Department of Bilkent University. He completed his master's degree in economics at Seattle University in the USA.
MUSIC CAREER
After high school, he formed a grunge/cover band named Mad Madame with Ari Barokas and was active for about two years. While continuing his education in the USA, he also continued his music work with Yakup Trana. A song he wrote in Seattle titled 'LaLaLa' was included in two compilation albums released in the USA. In 1999, he founded Duman with Batuhan Mutlugil and Ari Barokas. In January 2006, he released a solo work titled Karanlıkta, which included two songs, Karanlıkta and Tam Olsun, along with Batuhan Mutlugil and Yakup Trana from the Duman group. He provided vocals for Yeşim Salkım's song Beyhude. The Duman group, for which he is the vocalist, has released 6 studio albums, 2 live albums, and 1 concert DVD to date.
PERSONAL LIFE
On October 20, 2002, his girlfriend, Miss Turkey Ahu Paşakay, committed suicide at her home.
On March 24, 2010, he married model Seçkin Piriler, with whom he had been together for 5 years. Kaan Tangöze has two sons named Hakan and Volkan from his marriage to Seçkin Piriler. He divorced Seçkin Piriler by mutual consent on March 11, 2016.
On November 25, 2018, he married Kıvılcım Ural.
