Former Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu made striking statements in a video message he published amid ongoing "absolute nullity" debates within the party. While calling for a purge within the CHP, Kılıçdaroğlu also responded harshly to criticisms directed at him. The former CHP leader challenged his critics, saying, "There are those who expect me to remain silent or say other things. Your slanders and threats don't bother me."
The 7th Chairman of CHP, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, published a video on his social media account titled "To the conscientious, patriotic, and noble citizens of this beautiful country." In his statement, he emphasized clean politics and called for a purification within the Republican People's Party.
“KEEPING POLITICS CLEAN IS A DEBT OF HONOR”
In his message, Kılıçdaroğlu stressed the importance of morality and conscience in politics, using the following expressions:
"My dear friends, my courageous comrades in path and cause, and the noble citizens of this beautiful country with a conscience; the future of a nation is shaped by the mind, conscience, and morality of politics. The nation's halal tables are blessed with clean politics. Because dirty politics first corrupts the conscience, then destroys morality, and finally sets its eyes on the nation's bread. That is why keeping politics clean and bringing blessing to the nation's table is a debt of honor for everyone involved in politics in this country."
"CHP IS A SACRED TRUST, A SACRED TRUST CANNOT BE DIRTIED"
And my friends... This heavy responsibility falls first and foremost on CHP members, more than anyone else. Because CHP is a great plane tree. CHP is the will of this nation to rise from poverty. It has seen coups, it did not bow; it was shut down, it did not surrender; it endured pressures, but it never knelt and could never be taken over. My friends, CHP is a spirit whose founder is the great leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and which manifests our nation's will for independence. There can be no betrayal of spirituality. CHP is not a legacy left to us. Our party is a sacred trust entrusted to us. A sacred trust cannot be dirtied, nor can it be slandered.
