The company known by its short name SADAT, which stands for Defense Consultancy Construction Industry and Trade Joint Stock Company, placed a lien on the assets and bank accounts of former CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu after he failed to pay a compensation of 1 million lira that they won through a court case.

Former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, on May 13, 2022, went to SADAT's headquarters in Istanbul with CHP deputies to meet with the officials of this company. Kılıçdaroğlu, who was not allowed inside, stated in a press release in front of the building, "Among the goals of this organization is irregular warfare training. That is, sabotage, raids, ambushes, destruction, assassination, and terrorism. In Arabic, it is defined as 'terror' and 'terrorism.' In Turkish, it is also 'terror.' This is also an organization that trains terrorists."

Following these statements, SADAT filed a lawsuit against Kılıçdaroğlu for 1 million TL, and this lawsuit was concluded on April 28, 2023, with Kılıçdaroğlu being sentenced to pay compensation. During the time that passed, as Kılıçdaroğlu did not pay the 1 million TL compensation, SADAT's lawyers took action and placed a lien on Kılıçdaroğlu's assets, his receivables from various lawsuits, and all his bank accounts through enforcement.
