Following U.S. President Donald Trump's statement, "I might go to Istanbul tomorrow," Kremlin spokesman Peskov reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin responded negatively to questions about the possibility of participating in negotiations in Turkey.
US President Donald Trump, who indicated that he would attend the Russia-Ukraine summit to be held today at Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul but changed his plans at the last minute, stated in his latest announcement that he might come to Istanbul tomorrow (Friday), saying, "I said if I don't go, Putin won't come, and I was right. If necessary, I can go to Istanbul. We believe we will do good work with Russia and Ukraine. I hope Russia and Ukraine will do something; the war must be stopped," he expressed.
