Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu measured his body mass index data as part of a program launched simultaneously in 81 provinces. He shared moments of his weight control on his social media account, and after his body mass index results came back high, he received a warning to "let's go on a diet." In response, Memişoğlu asked, "Which dietitian should I go to?"
Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu announced that he would carry out height, weight, and body mass index (BMI) measurements with a program launched simultaneously in 81 provinces. Minister Memişoğlu also participated in the application he announced.
In the images taken while measuring his body mass index, Minister Memişoğlu addressed the youth in his message, saying, "Dear young people, I read what you write on social media. You are very creative and entertaining. However, the issue of excess weight is serious. As part of the application we launched simultaneously in 81 provinces, I voluntarily measured my body mass index. We see our new application, where we direct overweight individuals to our family health centers and healthy living centers, and provide them with free nutrition counseling and follow-up services, as an important step to raise awareness on this issue and to promote a culture of healthy living. We also invite you to our body mass index measurement points."

In his post, Memişoğlu shared images taken while measuring his body mass index. He received a warning to 'go on a diet' as his BMI was above normal. In response, Memişoğlu said, 'which dietician should I go to?'

Minister Memişoğlu, whose data came out high, later made a new post saying, "It turns out we have a little extra. The work has begun, we will walk every day." and shared moments of him walking.
