The timeline for presenting the legal regulation regarding the process of a terrorism-free Turkey to the Parliament is becoming clearer. The alternative draft that the legal advisors of the AK Party have been working on has been consulted with President Erdoğan. After clarifying both the execution regulation and how the upper management of the organization will be processed, the draft is expected to be presented to Erdoğan again next week. After Erdoğan's approval, the AK Party officials will present the draft to other parties in the Parliament for their opinions.

In the studies conducted by a small team within the AK Party, alternative texts were emphasized. The works were also evaluated with President Erdoğan. Discussions were held on how to process the self-dissolved terrorist organization and how the execution arrangements for the organization members would be. It gained weight to consider both regulations as a single legislative proposal.
WHICH COURTS WILL BE COMPETENT?
According to information obtained by Haberler.com; the framework law will include provisions on how the dissolution of the organization will be materialized. It will specify which courts will be competent in judicial processes. In alternative studies, it is emphasized that the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office will be authorized and that special courts to be assigned in Ankara will handle these cases.
THOSE NOT INVOLVED IN CRIME WILL BE SEPARATED
The penalty rates to be applied to organization members who lay down their arms are among the issues that have not yet been clarified. It is considered certain that those who are members of the organization but have not been involved in crime will be released under supervised probation conditions.
WILL TOP EXECUTIVES BE INCLUDED IN THE DRAFT?
Different formulas are in question for those involved in crime and organization executives. Whether those at the top of the organization, whose numbers are stated to be around 250, will come to Turkey and what level of punishment will be applied if they do, are among the issues that have not yet been clarified.
THE FINAL DECISION WILL BE MADE BY ERDOĞAN
The final decision regarding the largely completed draft will be made after a meeting with President Erdoğan. Legal advisors are expected to meet with Erdoğan next week. After that, the draft will be submitted to the parliamentary group. The group will also work on the draft.
According to the planning made, the internal work of the AK Party will be concluded in April. In May, an agreement will be sought with other parties.
