A leopard that entered a settlement in India attacked an employee after entering a liquor store. In the incident captured on security camera, the employee's cool-headed move prevented a potential disaster.
An incident in the town of Todaraisingh, Rajasthan, India, caused widespread panic in the area. A leopard that entered the settlement went into a liquor store on the main street and attacked an employee inside. The moment was captured second by second by the store's security cameras.
In the footage, 25-year-old employee Sanjay Gurjar is seen attending to the cash register when the leopard suddenly pounces on him. After a brief struggle with the animal, Gurjar managed to free himself, headed for the exit, and lowered the shutter, trapping the leopard inside the store. It was later learned that the employee fell ill.

Authorities stated that the same leopard had attacked two more people in the town before entering the store. It was reported that the injured included a forest volunteer and a 40-year-old citizen. The three people injured in the attacks were taken under medical treatment.
Upon notification, police and wildlife teams were dispatched to the area. A security perimeter was established, and after approximately five hours of work, the five-year-old male leopard was neutralized with a tranquilizer dart. It was reported that after health checks, it was planned to be released into its natural habitat.
