French President Emmanuel Macron made a statement following the National Security Council meeting focused on the Israel-Iran agenda.
CALL TO ISRAEL TO STOP ATTACKS ON TARGETS UNRELATED TO IRAN'S NUCLEAR OBJECTIVES
Macron called on Israel to immediately cease attacks on targets unrelated to nuclear activities or ballistic missiles. Macron stated, "It is concerning that Israeli attacks are increasingly hitting targets that are not connected to Iran's nuclear/ballistic program, leading to rising civilian casualties in both countries. These military operations, which seriously threaten regional security, must be urgently halted."
INSTRUCTION FOR NEGOTIATION
Macron also instructed Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot to work on a "meticulous negotiation solution" to end the Iran-Israel conflicts with European close partners.
CONFLICT STARTED BY ISRAEL'S VIOLENT ATTACKS ON IRAN
On June 13, Israel launched extensive attacks targeting the military high command, primarily focusing on nuclear facilities in various Iranian cities.
While the Chief of Staff of Iran, the Commander of the Revolutionary Guards, and several senior commanders, along with 9 nuclear scientists were killed in the attacks, the total civilian casualties were reported to be 224. It was reported that 24 people died and over 500 were injured in the Iranian military's retaliation against Israel using ballistic missiles.
