In the Buca district of Izmir, 300 thousand narcotic pills were seized in an operation conducted at an address based on information that drugs were to be distributed to street dealers known as 'torbacı.' Two individuals detained in connection with the incident were arrested.
300 THOUSAND NARCOTIC PILLS SEIZED
Teams from the Izmir Provincial Police Department's Narcotics Crimes Branch, operating under the coordination of the Izmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, received information that a large quantity of narcotics was stored at an address in the Buca district. Upon determining that the narcotics would be distributed to street dealers, referred to as 'torbacı,' the teams acted without delay. In the operation conducted at the specified address and during detailed searches, exactly 300 thousand narcotic pills were seized.
TWO DETAINEES ARRESTED
Two suspects, identified as A.K. and E.T., who were caught and detained as part of the operation, were referred to the courthouse after their police procedures were completed. The suspects were arrested by the court and sent to prison.
