THE MESSAGE HE SENT GOT HIM IN TROUBLE
An investigation was initiated by the Görele Chief Public Prosecutor's Office following a complaint regarding a message allegedly sent from the social media account of the CHP Mayor Hasbi Dede.
FIRST RELEASED, THEN ARRESTED
Dede, who was called to give a statement as part of the investigation, was initially released by the court to be tried without detention. After the prosecutor appealed the decision, the case was re-evaluated. Dede was brought back to court and was arrested on charges of "harassing someone for sexual purposes" as regulated in Article 105 of the Turkish Penal Code.
EXITED THROUGH THE BACK DOOR
While extensive security measures were taken in front of the courthouse, it was learned that Dede was taken out through the back door of the courthouse.
