The General Directorate of Meteorology announced that a storm and heavy rainfall are expected in various regions of Turkey starting from the evening hours. Citizens were advised to be cautious against negative impacts such as disruptions in transportation, roof blow-offs, tree falls, poisoning from stoves and natural gas, blizzards in high areas with snow cover, floods and water inundation due to melting snow, strong winds, and landslides.
The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a storm and heavy rainfall warning for various regions of Turkey.
WARNING FOR MANY REGIONS
According to a statement from the General Directorate of Meteorology, after the evening hours, intermittent and local heavy downpours are expected in the southern parts, primarily in the north of Malatya and Adıyaman, the south and east of Elazığ, the north of Tunceli and Diyarbakır, the south of Erzincan, and in Bingöl.
It is anticipated that the precipitation will be heavy above 1700 meters in the form of heavy rain mixed with snow and snow.
STRONG STORM EXPECTED
From tonight onwards, strong winds and storms are expected from the south in the South Aegean and Western Mediterranean, and from Friday morning in the Central Anatolia region, the inner parts of the Western Black Sea, and in the Taurus region of the Eastern Mediterranean. Local strong storms are expected around Antalya, Isparta, Muğla, Karaman, Konya, Niğde, and Kayseri.
After the evening hours today, strong storms are anticipated in the inner parts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea, around Tokat and Amasya, as well as in the inner and high areas of Gümüşhane, Artvin, Samsun, Ordu, Giresun, Trabzon, and Rize provinces.

In the Eastern Mediterranean, it is predicted that the wind will blow from the west and southwest at a strength of 6 to 8 in the form of a storm starting from tomorrow afternoon.
