According to the latest forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the general weather of the country is expected to be partly and very cloudy, with rain and showers in the western and southeastern Marmara, Aegean, the northern and western parts of Central Anatolia, and the inner and eastern parts of the Western Black Sea. It is predicted that the Aegean coast and the Western Mediterranean coasts will experience occasional thunderstorms and heavy showers.

HEAVY RAIN WARNING

MARMARA

Partly and very cloudy, with rain and showers expected in the surroundings of Edirne, Çanakkale, Bilecik, and Sakarya, as well as in the western parts of Balıkesir and Tekirdağ. It is expected that the rainfall will be heavy in the western districts of Çanakkale after noon. Fog and occasional mist are expected in the eastern parts of the region in the morning and at night.

AEGEAN

Partly and very cloudy, with intermittent rain and showers, and occasional thunderstorms expected in the coastal areas. It is anticipated that the rainfall will be locally strong in the coastal areas.

MEDITERRANEAN

Partly and very cloudy, with intermittent rainfall expected in the Western Mediterranean. Rainfall is expected to be in the form of showers and thunderstorms along the coasts, rain in the inner parts, and mixed rain and snow in the higher elevations, with local heavy rainfall expected in the Antalya region from noon onwards.

CENTRAL ANATOLIA
