Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced that arrest warrants have been issued for 200 suspects as part of an operation conducted by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office targeting illegal betting, fraud, and money laundering crimes. Stating that a major criminal organization was dealt a heavy blow in the simultaneous operations, Gürlek said, 'I thank our Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and our Adana Provincial Police Department.'

Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek announced that detention orders have been issued for 200 suspects in an investigation conducted by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into crimes of "illegal gambling," "qualified fraud," "bribery," and "money laundering."

In a statement on his social media account, Gürlek emphasized that, within the scope of the investigation coordinated by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a simultaneous operation was carried out against 200 suspects in 21 provinces, dealing a heavy blow to the layered criminal organization targeting the peace of the nation and the economy.

Minister Gürlek stated the following:

"As a result of reports from the Financial Crimes Investigation Board and evidence obtained through technical and physical surveillance, it has been determined that approximately 100 billion lira and 2 billion dollars in criminal proceeds were laundered within the financial system, revealing the full extent of the ongoing struggle. The determined stance of our Ministries of Justice, Interior, and Treasury and Finance, working shoulder to shoulder in great coordination, is the clearest indicator that we will never compromise against financial crime organizations and illegal gambling networks. I thank our Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and Adana Provincial Police Department for this operation carried out with patience and great care. We will continue our fight against all types of criminal structures targeting the sweat and future of our citizens with the same unwavering determination."
