WHAT HAPPENED?As part of the efforts to determine the minimum wage figure that will be valid in the new year, the first meeting was held on December 10, hosted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. In the commission, which convened under the chairmanship of Minister Işıkhan, the worker side was represented by TÜRK-İŞ, while the employer side was represented by the Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations (TİSK). As part of the discussions, the second meeting was again held yesterday under the auspices of the Ministry; in this closed meeting, representatives from the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the Ministry of Trade, and the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) made presentations regarding economic data.
