WARNING TO CITIZENS ON THE ROAD
As the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Minister Uraloğlu also sent a message to those traveling on the occasion of Ramadan Bayram, saying, "I pray to my Lord that our brothers and citizens on the road comply with traffic rules and reach their destinations safely. I also advise them to definitely follow the rules." he said.
32-KILOMETER RAIL SYSTEM LINE FOR TRABZON
Minister Uraloğlu, who made a statement about transportation investments, said, "The rail system is the most requested project by the people of Trabzon. In this regard, we have put forward a project together with our Metropolitan Municipality, and with the approval and appreciation of our President, we have taken responsibility for it within the Ministry." he stated.
Adding that the project will extend from Akçaabat to Yomra, Minister Uraloğlu said, "It will cover a 32-kilometer line, including all stages from the City Hospital to the stadium, and to the university in the Square. Our goal is to complete the project this year. Our aim is to include it in the investment program next year. Our teams from the Metropolitan Municipality and our Ministry are continuing in line with this goal." he said.
"WE ARE WORKING ON A TOTAL OF 4 TUNNELS"
Minister Uraloğlu also made a statement regarding the Southern Ring Road, saying, "We have started the Southern Ring Road. We entered from Akçakale. We are working on a total of 4 tunnels." He also noted that they are nearing the end of the works on Kanuni Boulevard and emphasized that they are continuing the works.

Stating that there are 80 flights at Trabzon Airport today, Uraloğlu mentioned that they have made some arrangements at the domestic and international terminals of Trabzon Airport, adding that some of the works at the airport will be completed this year. Turkey can be affected by both the global conjuncture and internal dynamics; however, there is no deviation from our goal. We aim to reduce inflation from double-digit figures to single digits. Sometimes you may pause a bit, sometimes you may bend your knee a little. Some may think that you are kneeling, but that is a leap to jump higher. Turkey has experienced this and will continue to experience it." he stated.
