In the Seferihisar district of İzmir, a pickup truck hit Mustafa Kayhan, the General Director of the Meat and Milk Institution, who was a pedestrian on the road. Kayhan, who was seriously injured, was taken to the hospital but unfortunately could not be saved and passed away. Following the accident, the driver of the pickup truck was quickly apprehended.
While walking on the road in the Seferihisar district of İzmir, the General Director of the Meat and Milk Institution, Mustafa Kayhan, was hit by a pickup truck and died in the hospital where he was taken. The driver of the fleeing pickup truck was caught shortly after the incident.
PICKUP TRUCK HIT THE FORMER DIRECTOR
The accident occurred around 16:30 in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood on the Kuşadası-Seferihisar road. According to the information obtained, the pickup truck with license plate 35 GB 7884, driven by Talip B. (75), hit Mustafa Kayhan (56), the General Director of the Meat and Milk Institution, who was walking on the road. Kayhan was thrown several meters due to the impact, while the driver of the pickup truck fled the scene.
DIED IN THE HOSPITAL
Upon receiving the notification, gendarmerie teams arrived at the scene and ensured safety measures on the road, while health teams determined that Mustafa Kayhan, who was severely injured, was taken to Seferihisar State Hospital. Despite all the interventions, Kayhan, who was married and a father of three, could not be saved and passed away. His body was taken to the morgue after the examination.
DRIVER CAUGHT
Meanwhile, the driver of the fleeing pickup truck, Talip B., was caught and detained in front of the Doğanbey Police Station. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
