TWO AIRCRAFT WAITING IN TEHRAN

Providing information about the current status of Turkish carriers, Uraloğlu mentioned that a Turkish Airlines aircraft is waiting at Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport and stated that this is the only Turkish Airlines aircraft affected by this process.

Uraloğlu noted that a Pegasus Airlines aircraft is also at the same airport and stated that AJet does not have any aircraft waiting in Iran, Syria, Iraq, or other restricted areas.

Uraloğlu also mentioned that an aircraft leased by Tailwind Airlines to an Iraqi company is located in Iraq.

FLIGHT CREWS TRANSPORTED TO TURKEY

Uraloğlu indicated that the crews and representatives of Turkish Airlines and Pegasus located in Tehran have been transported to Turkey as part of the evacuation plan of the Turkish Embassy in Tehran, and that contact has been established with the Baghdad Embassy for the crews of Tailwind's leased aircraft in Iraq, which are waiting in Baghdad.

Uraloğlu stated that Turkish carriers, especially Turkish Airlines, have crews in Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar, but noted that there is no serious risk in these countries.

FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS EXTENDED UNTIL MARCH 6

Minister Uraloğlu stated that carriers have planned the routes of aircraft passing through restricted airspaces to avoid risks. Uraloğlu included the following statements in his announcement:

"Due to the ongoing risks in the region, flights to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan by Turkish Airlines, AJet, Pegasus, and SunExpress have been canceled until March 6, 2026. Additionally, Pegasus Airlines will not operate flights to Iran until March 12, in line with its decision. All flights planned to Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates have been canceled until March 3, 2026."

Uraloğlu stated that decisions are made based on daily evaluations and expressed that if there is no improvement in the current conditions, cancellations may continue on a daily basis. Uraloğlu said, "Today, flights to Riyadh, Jeddah, and Medina in Saudi Arabia and to Oman can be operated."
