In Şişli, Istanbul, suspects involved in the murder of pregnant woman Kader Küçükcoşkun and Gültekin Gezer have been apprehended. Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on his social media account that the suspects have been handed over to the Istanbul Police Department's Public Order Branch.

On April 6, 2025, suspects A.S., B.Z., A.Y., and S.M., who were identified as suspects in the murder of Gültekin Gezer and Kader Küçükcoşkun in Şişli, Istanbul, were captured along with the suspect M.S., who was the organizer of the human smuggling operation driving the vehicle. The suspects A.S., B.Z., A.Y., and S.M. were handed over to the Istanbul Police Department's Public Order Branch after necessary procedures.
The suspect M.S. was referred to the courthouse for the crime of "Human Smuggling."
WHAT HAPPENED?
The incident occurred in an apartment on the ground floor of a building in the Kuştepe neighborhood. S.Y., G.K., and D.K. called the police, stating that their friends had been shot by masked individuals in the house. Upon the notification, police teams dispatched to the scene found two people, one of whom was a woman, lying on the floor in a pool of blood in the living room of the apartment. Medical teams determined that the two individuals were seriously injured and transported them to the hospital after initial interventions. Kader Küçükcoşkun, who was found to be pregnant, and Gültekin Gezer died in the hospital where they were taken, while S.Y., G.K., D.K., and the building attendant T.E. were taken to the police station for their statements. It was determined that Küçükcoşkun was killed by one bullet and Gezer by nine bullets.
