Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı's claim that "Tomorrow a trustee will be appointed to the CHP" has been consecutively denied. Following Kütahyalı's statement, which has led to an investigation against him, there was a sharp decline in the futures market of Borsa Istanbul.
Journalist Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı claimed in a post on his social media account that after the first hearing to be held tomorrow at the 42nd Civil Court of First Instance regarding the allegations of irregularities at the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress, a trustee would be appointed to the party.
INVESTIGATION OPENED AGAINST KÜTAHYALI
Following Kütahyalı's claim, a series of statements were made. The Disinformation Combat Center stated that the allegations were merely manipulations. Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç also noted that the trustee claim was not true and announced that an investigation had been initiated regarding the false posts. The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that an investigation had been opened ex officio against Kütahyalı for the crime of "publicly disseminating misleading information."
SHARP DECLINE IN ISTANBUL STOCK EXCHANGE
Following Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı's claim, a collapse occurred in the futures market of the Istanbul Stock Exchange. In the Istanbul Stock Exchange, where the continuous trading session ended at 18:00, the futures markets experienced a sharp decline. Significant losses occurred in the XU030D1 index.
