In the forest fire that broke out in the Seyitgazi district of Eskişehir, 10 forest workers and an AKUT employee lost their lives. The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, was seen experiencing emotional moments while announcing the sad news. Struggling to speak and pausing at times, Minister Yumaklı said, "We have lost 10 brothers, like saplings. There is nothing more I can say. May our nation be consoled."
During the firefighting efforts in the Seyitgazi district of Eskişehir, 10 forest workers and AKUT employees who were caught in the flames were martyred.

I cannot find any other words to say."

Minister Yumaklı continued his remarks as follows: "Since June 1, we have mentioned this on every platform. Very high temperatures, strong winds, low humidity. This has turned into something beyond a simple forest fire. We lost 10 brothers like saplings. There is nothing more I can say. May our nation's head be healthy."
