The Ministry of National Defense announced that one of the two additional Patriot air defense systems deployed in Turkey under NATO will be replaced by Germany in June. It was stated that the system, planned to serve for approximately six months, will be stationed in Turkey in line with security developments in the region.
The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) made a statement regarding the Patriot air defense systems stationed in Turkey. The Ministry stated that air defense activities are being carried out in coordination with NATO allies in line with the current security environment.
GERMANY TAKES THE STAGE
In the statement, it was indicated that in addition to the Spanish Patriot air defense system operating in Turkey, one of the two additional Patriot systems assigned by NATO due to the conflicts between the US-Israel and Iran will be replaced by Germany.
It was stated that the rotation is planned to be completed within June, and the German Patriot system will serve in Turkey for approximately six months.

The Ministry of National Defense emphasized that the process will be maintained in coordination with allied countries in line with current security assessments. The statement was evaluated as a notable development regarding the increasing tension and air defense measures in the region.
