A 66-year-old man, who was reported missing after no news was received from him in the Alaca district of Çorum, was found dead under his car, which had rolled into a ditch, by gendarmerie teams.

RELATIVES FILED A MISSING PERSON REPORT
The incident occurred in the Örükaya village area of the Alaca district. According to the information obtained, relatives of Ferdi Güngör (66), who resided in Kuyumcusaray village, filed a missing person report after they could not reach him for a while. Upon the report, gendarmerie teams took action and started a search operation in the region.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED INTO THE ACCIDENT
As a result of the efforts, the car with license plate 66 ACS 015, driven by Ferdi Güngör, was found overturned in a ditch in the Örükaya village area. During the checks carried out by the teams, it was determined that Güngör had died after being trapped under the car. Following the work of the crime scene investigation teams, Güngör's body was taken to the morgue of Alaca State Hospital.
Gendarmerie teams launched an investigation into the accident.
