On the seventh day of the search for 27-year-old Uğur Çalışkan, who has a psychological disorder and disappeared after jumping out of the window of his uncle's house where he was staying, the first clue was found. The brother stated that they found belongings belonging to the missing young man in the area and expressed that they were waiting hopefully for good news.
Uğur Çalışkan, a 27-year-old who came to Hatay from Van and lives in the Serinyol neighborhood of Antakya, was diagnosed with bipolar disorder three years ago. To overcome his psychological disorder, Çalışkan was using medication, but seven days ago, he left the house of his uncle, where he was staying as a guest, by tearing apart the mosquito net on the window and disappeared. Following a missing person report made by his family, a search operation was initiated under the leadership of AFAD to find Çalışkan.
ITEMS FOUND
The teams' fieldwork continues on the 7th day. Tarık Çalışkan, who is waiting for hopeful news from his brother, stated that they found items belonging to Uğur in the area and said they are waiting for hopeful news.
"WE ARE VERY WORRIED FOR MY BROTHER"
Expressing that they have not found any other traces besides the belongings of his missing brother, elder brother Tarık Çalışkan said, "I am the brother of the missing Uğur Çalışkan. My brother Uğur has been missing for 7 days, and last Sunday, on the mountain's peak, his; t-shirt, cardigan, phone, wallet, and charger were found neatly folded by AFAD teams. Search operations continue with AFAD, gendarmerie, and our relatives. Since Sunday, no traces have been found. We are very worried for my brother. We request broader support from state officials," he stated.
