After the building's collapse, a dense cloud of dust was seen covering the surroundings.
Venezuela's National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez announced that the death toll from the 7.5 and 7.2 magnitude earthquakes, which occurred 39 seconds apart on June 24, has risen to 2,295, while the number of injured has exceeded 11,000.
