A taxi driver in Gaziantep was shot by his brother in front of the taxi stand where he worked. The assailant brother later called 112 to report himself, while the incident was captured on security cameras.
Security camera footage of the moment a taxi driver was shot by his brother in front of the taxi stand in Gaziantep has emerged. During the incident, the attacker fired two shots at his brother's feet with a gun that initially jammed. It was revealed that the attacker also called the 112 Emergency Call Center to report the incident.
HE SHOT HIS BROTHER IN FRONT OF THE TAXI STAND
The incident occurred in the afternoon in front of a taxi stand located in the Atatürk neighborhood of the Şehitkamil district. According to allegations, Ahmet Y., the brother of Harun Y., who works as a driver at the taxi stand, carried out an armed attack on him. During the attack, taxi driver Harun Y. was injured in both feet, while the suspect brother fled the scene.
The injured taxi driver was taken to 25 Aralık State Hospital by ambulance after the first intervention by the medical teams who arrived at the scene.

HE CALLED 112 AFTER THE SHOOTING
It was revealed that the attacker called the 112 Emergency Call Center immediately after the incident to request an ambulance and then fled the scene. It was learned that the suspect, who was caught shortly after the incident, is currently undergoing processing in custody.
