ASELSAN technicians Süleyman Cemre Kahraman and İsmail Enes Can, who were martyred in a helicopter crash in Qatar, were bid farewell on their final journey at the Ahmet Hamdi Akseki Mosque in Ankara. During the funeral, MHP leader Bahçeli and CHP leader Özgür Özel shook hands.
A funeral ceremony was held in Ankara for ASELSAN personnel Süleyman Cemre Kahraman and İsmail Enes Can, who were martyred as a result of the helicopter crash during training activities under the Qatar-Turkey Joint Force Command.
STATE OFFICIALS AT THE MARTYR'S FUNERAL
Along with the families and relatives of the martyrs, the funeral ceremony held at Ahmet Hamdi Akseki Mosque at noon was attended by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Minister of Interior Mustafa Çiftçi, Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, and Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, among other politicians and civil and military officials. During the ceremony, the families and relatives of the martyrs could not hold back their tears.
ÖZEL AND BAHÇELİ CAME TOGETHER
During the funeral ceremony, CHP leader Özgür Özel and MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli also came together. The moments when the two leaders shook hands were captured on camera.
