"MANY OFFERS OF HARAM MONEY CAME"
Muharrem Ince explained what he meant after his controversial statement. Stating that he had difficulty finding financing for the Memleket Party, Ince said that offers that were not suitable for him came.
Speaking to journalist Baris Yarkadas, Ince used the following expressions:
"I had difficulty finding halal money for the Memleket Party. Many offers of haram money came. I did not mean anyone else. I was describing myself."
"I DID NOT GIVE ANY MESSAGE THERE"
Muharrem Ince explained the background of his words in his statement. Ince said the following on the subject in his statement:
"I did not give any message there. While establishing the Memleket Party, we organized in 73 provinces in 5 years. We did not send a single penny to any of our provincial headquarters. Everyone made their own expenses from their own pockets. We managed our headquarters together with our party assembly members. Our accounts were examined and discharged. We spent 12 million TL in 5 years. Yes, finding halal money is not easy; I was talking about this. In Balikesir, I explained the process in the Memleket Party and what we experienced. I have no intention of giving a message to anyone."
