A striking statement has come from Iran's new religious leader, Mojtaba Khamenei. Speaking about the missiles that were launched from Iran and destroyed in Turkish airspace, Khamenei said, "The attacks on certain points in Turkey and Oman, with which we have good relations, are definitely not carried out by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran or other forces of the resistance front. We have no connection to these missile attacks. This is a deception of the Zionist enemy."
Mojtaba Khamenei, who was appointed as the new religious leader in Iran after his father Ali Khamenei was killed in the US-Israel attack, made a written statement. The detail about "Turkey" in Khamenei's statement drew attention.
"IRAN DID NOT LAUNCH MISSILE ATTACKS ON TURKEY"
Khamenei spoke about the three missiles that were launched from Iran and destroyed in Turkish airspace. Mojtaba Khamenei stated that the missiles were not launched by Iran. MISSILES LAUNCHED FROM IRAN
A total of three ballistic munitions fired from Iranian territory and directed towards Turkish airspace were detected at different times (on March 4, 9, and 13) in the first half of March and were destroyed in the air by NATO air defense elements stationed in the Eastern Mediterranean. The Ministry of National Defense stated that the munitions were directed towards Turkey after passing through Iraq and Syria, and that there were no casualties or material losses.
