A notable development occurred in Iraq, where Iran strikes U.S. bases almost every day. NATO evacuated all its personnel from Iraq to Europe.

NATO has evacuated all its personnel in the country to Europe by changing its deployment regarding its mission in Iraq (NMI).

NATO PERSONNEL IN IRAQ HAVE LEFT THE COUNTRY

In a written statement from NATO, it was reported that the last NMI personnel in Iraq left the country as of today.

The statement included remarks from the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) General Alexus Grynkewich, who said, "I thank the Republic of Iraq and all allies for their support in the safe evacuation of NATO personnel from Iraq."

THEIR NEW ADDRESS IS ITALY

Finally, the statement noted that NMI will continue its activities from the Joint Force Command in Naples, Italy. NMI, which does not have a combat mission, aims to support Iraq in creating more sustainable, transparent, and inclusive security forces and institutions.

The mission aims to contribute to Iraq's ability to ensure its own security, combat terrorism, and prevent the resurgence of the terrorist organization ISIS.
