Actor Mustafa Üstündağ, who is on vacation in Mersin with his family, criticized the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for handing over the operation of some tourist places to a private company. The actor, who said that tickets were sold in euros, said, "As a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, I felt embarrassed because I didn't have euros with me."
Mustafa Üstündağ, who has made a name for himself with his success in the series he has acted in and got married to journalist Tuba Kalçık last month, reacted to the ticket sales with euros when entering a tourist place in Mersin without knowing that Mersin is connected to the euro zone.
"I DIDN'T KNOW THAT MERSIN IS CONNECTED TO THE EURO ZONE"
The actor, who shared both his ID card and the tickets for the Heaven-Hell caves that he wanted to enter by paying with euros on his Instagram account, said, "Yesterday, I was embarrassed because I didn't have euros as a Turkish Republic citizen. Because I didn't know that Mersin is connected to the euro zone. These are 4 tickets with the euro symbol on them from the Ministry of Culture. Yesterday, the Heaven-Hell ticket was 435 lira. If you come next week, you can pay 550 lira. Because they accept euros, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has transferred this place to a company," and tagged the ministry's account.
