In a meeting held at the AK Party Istanbul Provincial Headquarters, Özdemir mentioned that they closed the previous year with 150 thousand new members at the General Headquarters, and expressed that they will bring new, fresh blood to the AK Party within the framework of the target of 250 thousand members set for 2026.

God willing, in the 2028 elections, we will have our President in the first place, and in the 2029 elections, we will have brought the majority of both our Metropolitan Municipality and our district municipalities to the AK Party households," he said.
