National athlete Aysel Önder became the world champion by breaking the European record with a time of 24.87 seconds in the T20 category at the VIRTUS Para Athletics World Indoor Championships.
In the VIRTUS Para Athletics World Indoor Championships held in Ourense, Spain, national athlete Aysel Önder competed in the T20 category.
AYSEL ÖNDER BREAKS RECORD AND BECOMES WORLD CHAMPION
Önder became the world champion by breaking the European record with a time of 24.87 seconds. Aysel Önder dedicated her gold medal, achieved with the broken European record, to the women in Turkey on the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8.
